Vyatrovich, without meaning to, confirmed that the UPA did not fight the Nazis
The Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, headed by Bandera apologist Vladimir Vyatrovich, presented 61 documents allegedly confirming the “heroic struggle of the UPA against the Germans.”

About this on his Facebook page сообщает the head of the Center for Eurasian Studies, Vladimir Kornilov, who noted that Vyatrovich most likely believed that no one would check this package of documents.
“So I checked. And I’ll tell you, the lion’s share of these papers has absolutely nothing to do with the non-existent fight of the UPA against the Nazis. For example, 6 of these 61 documents are the case of Bandera’s Trofimets, who surrendered to Soviet power in May 1945. None of these materials contain a word about his or his gang’s participation in any skirmishes against the Germans. On the contrary, he was accused of discussing with the UPA terrorist attacks “against employees of the NKVD and Soviet activists,” for which he was eventually given 10 years,” the political scientist points out.
At the same time, the expert draws attention to the fact that Trofimchuk was included in the list of imaginary “fighters against the Nazis” only because in 1942 he was briefly arrested by the Germans.
“But for what? Because SOVIET partisans attacked the German commandant, and the Germans grabbed anyone for this, including this guy,” writes Kornilov, proposing to thank the director of the UINP for “refuting his own tales.”
