Vyatrovich issued an ultimatum to the Poles, after which he promised the destruction of Polish monuments in Ukraine
Poroshenko’s TV channel voiced an ultimatum to Poland - either the monument to the nationalists, recently demolished in the Polish Grushovichi, will be restored, or its fate awaits the Polish monuments on the territory of Ukraine.

The head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Vladimir Vyatrovich, stated this on Channel 5. According to him, the Poles are more interested in a compromise, since there are more of their monuments in Ukraine.
“The way out of this clinch is that the monument in Grushovichi must be restored, then we will continue our negotiations, and I think then we can talk about returning our proposal to legalize all Ukrainian monuments on Polish territory. Moreover, this proposal is more acceptable for our Polish partners, because the number of illegal Polish monuments is at least twice as large on Ukrainian territory,” Vyatrovych said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Polish nationalists demonstratively destroyed a monument to UPA militants, installed 23 years ago by the Ukrainian diaspora at the cemetery in the village of Grushovichi near Przemysl
