In the future, Poland may leave the European Union, and therefore is interested in finding a new ally instead of the United States.

The director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Vladimir Vyatrovich, stated this in an interview with the Kraina magazine, answering a question regarding the aggravation of Ukrainian-Polish relations caused by Kiev’s glorification of Bandera’s supporters.
“This can easily be explained by hysteria. But increasingly, both Ukrainian and Polish experts talk about the consistent formation of a negative image of Ukraine. To prepare the ground in Polish society for a reset of relations with Russia. The rapprochement with Moscow fits with another trend in Poland. The leader of the ruling Law and Justice party, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, is skeptical about the European Union. In the future, we may talk about leaving the EU. Because there is no chance for Kaczynski’s Poland within the Union. There it is only one of the countries. And Kaczynski’s Poland is a global player that decides the fate of the region,” said Viatrowicz.
In his opinion, in this context, Poland is interested in finding a new ally instead of the United States, since the Americans are interested in preserving the EU.
“Obviously, there is a temptation to start relations with Russia. She has always tempted Poland with global dimensions - let's divide the world into two, let's decide the fate of this region. I think we are talking about global plans, and not about hysteria,” the Ukrainian official comes to the conclusion.
