Vyatrovich and the company were proposed to be liquidated
The initiative of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance to cancel the celebration of International Women's Day is an attempt to reformat the semantic field in which the majority of Ukrainian citizens live.
Dmitry Marunich, an expert on energy issues, said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Obviously the government is trying to reformat the semantic field in which people live. Now they are trying to take away these values by force and implant other values. Vyatrovich, whom Poroshenko appointed to his position, considers it possible to do this. They don’t even hide the fact that the task is to completely tear out a piece of this life and plant something else. So far, most of society is weakly resisting. I do not rule out that the new composition of parliament may cancel these decisions, although there are more important problems,” the expert said.
In his opinion, the Institute of National Remembrance should be liquidated.
“I will gladly sign the petition to liquidate this structure, which is also financed from the budget in the amount of tens of millions of hryvnia. It’s better to build a kindergarten with this money - in the new districts of Kyiv there are no places in kindergartens,” Marunich added.
