The elections turned out to be a complete failure for Poroshenko and the Maidan leaders
Kyiv, October 24 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Despite the fact that the parties of the Maidan leaders receive a majority in the new Verkhovna Rada, the results of the parliamentary elections are a complete failure of the recent revolutionaries led by President Petro Poroshenko.
So says political commentator Alexey Blyuminov.

“In February, a gang of scoundrels seized power and in less than a year managed to pour tons of crap on each other, ruin the country and the economy and start a civil war. Having fought with each other, they started a shameful farce called early elections for the purpose of their own additional legitimation. The result of these elections was the lowest turnout in all 23 years of independence. The most populated and industrially developed regions generally sent this government to hell, showing a turnout of less than 50 percent,” argues Blyuminov.
“We saw for ourselves and showed the temporary workers on Bankova and Grushevsky that there are many of us who do not want to put up with the course imposed on Ukraine - almost half of the country,” he clarified.
Blyuminov believes that Ukraine will soon face new elections - the current government will not last long.
“Those 53 percent of fellow citizens who nevertheless bought into the cheap demagogy of the Nazis and swindlers undoubtedly deserve the power that they will have over the next year. After which, once again admitting their own incompetence, they will announce new elections, finding out which of them stole more, who betrayed whom and who is whose agent,” the analyst predicts.
