The publication interprets the local elections as a test for President Petro Poroshenko and his ruling coalition.
The test failed in the elections in Mariupol, where Poroshenko had to cancel the vote.
The authorities accused the Opposition Bloc of violations, while supporters of this party said Poroshenko’s vote was disrupted due to the loss of his political force in this city.
“Polls show that Poroshenko’s party holds a slight lead among the coalition parliamentary parties... its popularity is declining sharply, given the slow pace of reform,” the publication says.
The European magazine also recalls the rating of another Euromaidan participant - Prime Minister Yatsenyuk, whose party support has fallen over the year by more than 20 times, and is only about 1%.
