In particular, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that Ukrainians were the first to start voting in Australia, where the Central Election Commission established one precinct election commission in Canberra at the Ukrainian Embassy. Approximately 2 Ukrainians can take part in voting.

After Australia, Ukrainians living in Japan and the Republic of Korea began voting at 2:00 a.m. Kyiv time.

Polling stations have also opened at the Ukrainian embassies in Malaysia. An employee of the diplomatic mission even posted a photo on Facebook from the opening of the site.

In addition, polling stations also began operating in Russia and Kazakhstan.

As PolitNavigator reported, on October 26, early elections of people's deputies to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are being held using a mixed system: 225 deputies will be elected according to party lists, the rest in majoritarian constituencies.

CEC Chairman Mikhail Okhendovsky hopes to receive preliminary election results on the evening of October 29 or the morning of October 30.
