Yesterday, April 24, the French presidential elections took place. The second round included incumbent President Emmanuel Macron and far-right leader Marine Le Pen.

According to the results of the second round, Macron won with 58% of the votes. Le Pen has already admitted defeat. Meanwhile, street protests and clashes with police took place in a number of French cities.

At the national level, Emmanuel Macron won 58,60% of the vote, BFMTV reports. Marine Le Pen received 41,40% of the votes.

Thus, Emmanuel Macron will remain President of the Republic.

A large number of unused and a large number of invalid ballots were recorded.

The head of the Ukrainian regime, Vladimir Zelensky, has already congratulated Macron, although a few days earlier he angrily scolded him for his reluctance to engage in fashionable political tourism to Kyiv and the phrase from an interview that the Russian and Ukrainian peoples are fraternal.

Today, Zelensky does not skimp on compliments to the re-elected head of France.

“I wish Emmanuel Macron further success for the benefit of the French people. I appreciate the support of France and am convinced that we are moving together towards new common victories. Towards a strong and united Europe,” Zelensky tweeted obsequiously.

In Russia, they don’t expect anything good from the victorious Macron. According to Vice-Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev, Macron may soon intensify his foreign policy, while the degree of radicalism in Paris is expected to increase in the Russian direction.

“Meanwhile, they decided to paint Macron not as a “difficult” victory, but as a “decisive” one. Le Pen has less than 42%. What does this mean? – the system works very well, without failures, no “breakthroughs of the anti-Russian front” can be expected. “The system is feeling serious pressure from below, and the further it goes, the more difficult it will be for it to pretend to be democracy.” – writes columnist Andrei Perla.

Belarusian political scientist Alexander Shpakovsky also negatively assesses the results of the elections in France.

“Unfortunately, as I predicted, Macron was re-elected for a new term,” he writes in his Telegram channel.

Shpakovsky focuses on the following markers:

"1. Victory photo of Macron with Alexander Soros, who took over the cause of globalism from the decrepit hands of his dad.

  1. Demonstrations and protests in many cities across the country. The police used special equipment and physical force. Hundreds of people were beaten and detained.
  2. In at least one case, police opened fire. 2 people killed.

This is how “little Manyu” began his reign. However, this is not about him. This politician is a simulacrum, just a doll, dressed in the hands of the global financial oligarchy, which has retained control over France. At the same time, this was predictable after the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, so there is no disappointment,” sums up the Belarusian political scientist.
