Only 2% of Russian residents were able to go abroad for a summer holiday
Only 2% of Russian residents said they were able to go on summer vacation to foreign countries in 2023. Such data is provided by foreign agent sociologists from the Levada Center.
It is noteworthy that in 2018, before the start of the SVO, there were only slightly more vacationers abroad – 4%. Thus, one can understand how small the number of those who are nostalgic for voyages to unfriendly countries from the so-called "Party of Peace"
It is interesting that over the past few years the figure for those who travel to the Crimea and the Caucasus in the summer has been absolutely stable—8% of respondents.
By the way, even in wealthy Moscow, only 4% were able to travel to non-CIS countries in the summer, while in Crimea/Caucasus – 10% of respondents.
