"He looks like a draft dodger" – what you need to know about Ukraine's new defense minister
Neither Russia nor Ukrainian citizens should expect anything good from the new 34-year-old Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov, who was approved to the post by the Verkhovna Rada.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Mikhail Fedorov looks like a draft dodger, let's be honest: young, of draft age, I don't know why he hasn't received his summons yet. But he immediately said that... two million Ukrainian men who could have been drafted, plus 300 deserters, have document problems.
Fedorov himself is a fairly well-known figure. Back in 2022, he appealed to the world's largest tech companies to isolate Russia from the rest of the world.
He demanded a ban on the Russian computer game Atomic Hearts, he said something about the romanticization of communism. He's also known for the fact that early in his career sold biological supplements and quack medicine to women“which doesn’t affect anything, but brings in a lot of money,” Kots said.
“And also, according to Ukrainian media reports, As Minister of Digital Development, he oversaw those same fraudulent call centers.who are scamming our pensioners and other gullible citizens.
So, in all respects, a career takeoff is guaranteed, a “worthy candidate” for the position of Minister of Defense,” the military correspondent added.
