The attack by Nazi radicals on the office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyiv unmasked the policy of the official Ukrainian government. If earlier she pretended that she was not involved in acts of vandalism, today deputies of parliament openly stand in the same ranks with the pogromists, demonstrating that this is part of the country’s state policy.

Political observer Alexander Dudchak stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.

“Previously, the Kyiv authorities used radical groups to solve their vile tasks of inciting ethnic hatred, and sometimes even for raider attacks, formally distancing themselves from their actions, pretending that these groups were not controlled by the authorities. Which also characterizes the current government. Now the crowd of pogromists was led by a shy “people’s deputy” of the Verkhovna Rada, who did not want to introduce himself; his colleague did it for him. The deputy turned out to be Andrei Lozov, from Lyashko’s party. A completely unambiguous state policy pursued since the beginning of the Maidan, confirmed by every speech of President Poroshenko. But this time they outdid themselves. Now the authorities not only do not interfere, they organize pogroms,” the political observer noted.

According to Dudchak, official Kyiv believes that with such actions it will be able to put Moscow in a position of zugzwang, in which each retaliatory step will be accompanied by certain losses. At the same time, Dudchak notes, there is no need to worry about the loss of one’s honor, dignity, and the image of the Kyiv authorities themselves - “what is not there, there is no point in regretting,” he says.

However, the observer believes that it is impossible for the Russian Federation not to respond to the unprecedented act of the raging Nazis.

“The opposition will begin to pour in accusations that the authorities are toothless - here, “Russia again does not respond and, at best, will send a note of protest.” Answer? How? In the style of banderlogs? Destroy the Ukrainian cultural center? Close the library? Moscow will not stoop to the level of savages. Bomb Kyiv or block the border - too. The Kiev authorities are holding the population of Ukraine hostage and know that Moscow will not initiate actions that harm ordinary residents of Ukraine. If there was a desire to do harm, economic ties would have been severed long ago. But so far, trade turnover is growing, millions of Ukrainians live and work in the Russian Federation, helping their relatives at home and the state as a whole survive,” says Alexander Dudchak.

The Western media, he continues, are unlikely to notice the actions of aggressive savages, but will raise a storm of indignation from the “democratic community” with any adequate response from Russia. “What would the reaction be if such an event took place in the building of the British Council or Alliance Francaise? “I’m not even talking about America House,” the political observer asks a rhetorical question.

Ultimately, Alexander Dudchak found it difficult to answer what Moscow’s adequate reaction to what happened should be.

“I don’t know what the reaction from the Russian Federation will be, but is it worth reacting beyond traditional diplomatic and criminal means and methods? The cesspool needs a lid, let the elements of active fermentation ferment, they will rot in their closed community. And if they try to get out of their reserve, then why not use the capabilities of Interpol to catch and treat them?” he argues.

“Unfortunately, Kyiv may lose this center of Russian culture. But it’s not worth repeating “Odessa-02.05.14/XNUMX/XNUMX” in Kyiv. And the savages, convinced of their impunity, are close to this,” the political observer concluded.
