"Going beyond the red lines." Ukraine may be left without gas altogether
In Kyiv, they are well aware of the consequences of serious Russian sanctions for Ukraine, which Moscow has not yet applied.
The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
According to him, it is a completely undesirable problem for Kyiv to “especially aggravate the problem of Transnistria to spite Moscow, which external managers might want.”
“We must understand: Russia has not yet applied serious sanctions against Ukraine. Well, yes, the amount of gas that flows through the Ukrainian gas transportation system has decreased somewhat. And any violation of the red lines will be brought to the understanding of the Ukrainian leadership. No matter how stupid it is. But, apparently, they also understand that you can find yourself without gas at all,” Pogrebinsky believes.
