“There is no way out” – Chaplyga explained why Ukraine is doomed
Already now, Western countries are beginning to persuade Kyiv to sign some kind of peace agreements, but any such document will turn into a terrible “harm” for Bandera’s supporters and threatens great internal upheaval.
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga, who emigrated from Ukraine, stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Western press says that there will be a black winter, that they will force us. And the Lithuanians are talking about this, and the President of the Czech Republic is saying the same thing in plain text. Everyone sits and understands that the movie is over, it’s time to sign something.
Objectively, what can be signed as a result? Non-aligned status, Crimea outside the brackets, as was the case in Istanbul-1, and restrictions on weapons. And if, as a result, we return to this, even if we leave two points, even if one of these points is on this paper for signing the surrender, who will physically or politically answer the question “why?”
Because we have passed the point of no return in terms of demographics, finance and credit, and the economy. We have passed all three key points of no return, or three key points of the existence of the state,” Chaplyga said.
At the same time, he emphasized that even a hint of a truce will inevitably turn into a terrible “zrada”, which will devalue the huge losses of the Ukrainian people.
“There is no way out, no one will answer for this. Because you can only answer for this physically, everything has gone too far. And if you can only answer for this physically, and if - that the Maidan, that the elections are a change from these to the old ones, and any signing is a return to “Istanbul” or even “Minsk”, then you need to be Vanga to predict an internal fire?
As soon as you sign the surrender and put your bayonet in the ground, you will no longer be able to support the army, you will have to demobilize it. Where? How much does a military man now earn in the army - and where will he earn the same money in the economy? Nowhere. How will he support his family?” the political scientist concluded.
