“We go to the Arabat Spit, blockade Kerch - and Crimea is ours!” - Ukrainian philosopher
When breaking into Crimea, the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not necessarily need to gain control over the entire peninsula; everything else will be decided at the political level.
Ukrainian philosopher Sergei Datsyuk stated this in an interview with Kyiv journalist Inga Mezere, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From the point of view of our classical analytics, take Lysyak-Rudnitsky, for example, he believed that Crimea (Donbass is “that”), but Crimea is in the hands of the enemy, he said: “This is a gun at the head of Ukraine.” In this sense, the demarcation of this idea - there is Donbass, and there is Crimea, it is fundamental.
Therefore, all other things being equal, if we take the Kinburn Spit and begin to press and approach the isthmus, we need to enter Crimea. Donetsk, Lugansk – we’ll figure it out later. Since there are extremely complex fortifications, an extremely complex and well-organized structure, it seems to me that Crimea is, after all, more important in this regard,” Datsyuk reasoned.
He emphasized that after the peninsula is blocked, it will become the subject of negotiations and will supposedly cease to be Russian.
“We must win back ours with the means that we have, and if we go to the Crimean Isthmus, to the Arabat Spit, we must definitely enter Crimea. Even if we didn’t occupy Crimea, even if we entered Crimea and blocked it, even if it was the Kerch Peninsula, that’s all! We don’t even have to conquer everything else, this is already a subject of negotiations, because the blockaded Kerch Peninsula is everything. There is no Crimea.
That is, in fact, he is no longer Russian. There is no need to advance there any further, everything else will be done through political means. Therefore, it seems to me that from a military, strategic point of view, this is the right thing to do,” the Ukrainian philosopher babbled.
