It would seem, what so urgent can you do in the rare hours of silence against the backdrop of accelerating hysteria about the “drone attack on Odessa”? Naturally, by moving the monuments for the sake of the patriotic public.

Thus, deputies of the City Council gathered for a session to consider the most important issue “On the dismantling and transfer of the monument to the “Founders of Odessa” to the Odessa Museum of History and Local Lore.”

It would seem that something so urgent can be done in the rare hours of silence against the backdrop of accelerating...

The draft of this decision was proposed by the European Solidarity faction, and was preceded by a letter from President Zelensky to the City Council, in which he categorically hinted at “clearing public space of objects and monuments relating to the Russian imperial and Soviet heritage, which perpetuates Russian propaganda anti-Ukrainian narratives in Ukraine.” .

The Gauleiter of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Maxim Marchenko, also strongly recommended that Catherine be demolished. Not to mention the free patriots who daily desecrate the statue and, as if by chance, walk past Catherine with grenade launchers.

In such a situation, it was expected that voting was just a matter of technique; they would vote for dismantling and be done with it. However, the “zrada” came out of nowhere - only 17 deputies out of 39 present at the session were in favor of moving the empress. And in order to make this decision, it was necessary to get 33 votes, because there are 64 deputies in the city council.

Yes, no one spoke out against it, one deputy abstained, and 21 simply did not vote.

“Deputies from Mayor Trukhanov’s party “Trust in Deeds” completely ignored the vote - not one out of 20 cast their vote,” the Dumskaya publication, the mouthpiece of “European Solidarity” in Odessa, is indignant. — President Zelensky’s faction in the Servant of the People city hall was also surprised - only 3 out of 10 voted “for.” Another “miracle” occurred when 7 out of 18 representatives of the former OPZZH voted “for”.

The full breakdown of the voting was published by the indignant EU deputy Pyotr Obukhov, who recently staged a performance with an ax, a scaffold and red paint at the monument to Catherine:

“By factions for dismantling Catherine:

"European Solidarity" - 7 out of 10.

“Servant of the People” - for 3 out of 10.

OPZH - for 7 out of 18.

“Trust things” - 0 out of 20.

“Shariya’s party” – for 0 out of 6.”

Mayor Trukhanov, who had been fidgeting for several months and “confused in his testimony” on the topic “cannot be demolished,” also chose not to vote. It seems that they spat in Zelensky’s face, that is, although in a cowardly way, they left Ekaterina, but at the same time in a white coat - we don’t mind, we just didn’t press the buttons.

Patriots, however, have a different opinion on this matter.

“Nothing strange happened. The majority of the Odessa City Council are latent and passive Putin’s minions and lackeys. They were afraid to vote to preserve the imperial myth. Are waiting. An abomination. The residents of Odessa will decide everything without them,” wrote Sergei Gutsalyuk, a non-Odessa resident and the leader of the Southern Branch of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, on Facebook.

His brothers immediately joined him:

“We need to bring down Katka and this enemy city council!” “They are waiting to organize a parade near their b...di, God forbid!” “Yes, pull the monument to the f... tank and that’s all.”

Let me remind you that patriots have been so indignant for several days now, because they cannot participate in the vote announced by the City Council among the townspeople “for” or “against” the dismantling of the monument, since a mandatory condition for it is the presence of Odessa registration. Therefore, they are unable to solve anything in a legal, civilized way (at least for now), so I can give the morally disabled people another idea.

Why are patriots and the president not outraged by the fact that Odessa deputies vote, and no matter how, in the building of the City Duma on Duma Square, and even the cannibalistic, aforementioned publication “Dumskaya”, which serves as a platform for Poroshenko, Goncharenko, Obukhov and other professional Russophobes, named after what?!. A-ha-ha, and in honor of the State Duma of the Russian Empire, a mini copy of which was the Odessa Duma, the main legislative body of the city, until it was renamed by the Bolsheviks.

Well, how come the Nazis still haven’t gotten around to seriously addressing this, another “urgent” issue, during the war? There’s nothing left to lose, but you can show off your bestial face once again. “Pull the Duma to hell with a tank and that’s it.”

In the voice of Nikolai Drozdov: then it will be interesting to watch the deputies - some of the aggressive ones, from “European Solidarity”, and some of those trying to pretend to be adequate. Will white coats get dirty?
