“Everyone will die out”: Russia will switch to elections via the Internet by 2024-28
Russia will move to voting in elections via the Internet by 2024-28. This forecast was voiced by political scientist Alexander Seravin from the PiteR expert group at a meeting of the RAPC Congress in Moscow.

“I believe that in the near future there will be a transfer of our Russian elections to electronic rails. The British must transfer by 2020; this coming to the polling stations will no longer exist. I think that we will also move on to this matter by 2024-28. Because this is an incredible cost savings,” the expert said.
In his opinion, the population will trust elections via the Internet, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The voter has already entrusted his money to electronic bank cards. It’s a very short step to the fact that he will also entrust (the Internet) his electronic voice, which he just needs to prepare,” Seravin argues.
He predicts that the introduction of elections via the Internet threatens the loss of jobs for many current election campaign participants involved in the field.
“I think that everyone will die out, only those who work within the framework of electronic electoral politics will remain,” Seravin said.
