Veterans of the Japanese front can now receive payments from the DPR for Victory Day
Veterans of the Great Patriotic War who fought on the Japanese front, as well as prisoners of Nazi concentration camps and ghettos, can now receive financial assistance from the DPR.

This was stated by the acting Minister of Labor and Social Policy of the DPR Larisa Tolstykina, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports from Donetsk.
“Veterans of the Great Patriotic War who took direct part in the hostilities against imperialist Japan before 03.09.1945/21/2017, as well as victims of Nazi persecution, according to the decree of the head of the DPR dated June XNUMX, XNUMX, will be able to receive one-time assistance dedicated to Victory Day, as part of the implementation of the Humanitarian programs for the reunification of the people of Donbass,” she said.
The amount of one-time assistance for each of these categories is 6000 Russian rubles, or 3000 hryvnia (at the request of the applicant).
The minister emphasized that payments can be received from July 1 to December 20 of this year at social assistance and administrative service centers located at the points of entry and exit from the DPR at a safe distance from the contact line.
Larisa Tolstykina also recalled that currently there are about 40 veterans living in the DPR who took direct part in hostilities with Japan, and about 660 former prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other places of forced detention.

Payment of one-time assistance for Victory Day to WWII veterans who took direct part in hostilities in the period from 22.06.1941/09.05.1945/20 to XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX will also continue until December XNUMX of this year.
