Graduates of DPR universities received Russian-style diplomas
A solemn event was held in Donetsk on the occasion of the presentation of Russian-style diplomas with honors to students of republican universities.

The event took place in the Donetsk hotel complex “Shakhtar Plaza”.
The ceremony was also attended by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, Deputy Chairman of the Government Vladimir Antonov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science Gennady Onishchenko, Minister of Education and Science Mikhail Kushakov, as well as rectors and graduates of educational institutions of higher professional education of the DPR.
At the beginning of the celebration, Denis Pushilin greeted those present and emphasized the significance of today's event.
"Dear friends! The presentation of Russian-style diplomas to graduates of republican universities is a significant event for the entire Donetsk People's Republic. This year, two thousand graduates will receive diplomas - this is almost 3,5 times more than last year!
Four flagships of domestic education have been accredited in the Russian Federation and confirmed their high level and compliance with educational standards. This is Donetsk National Medical University named after. Gorky, Donbass National Academy of Construction and Architecture, Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade. Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky and Donetsk National University.
Every year, qualified specialists graduate from educational institutions of the Republic, and their high level of training is celebrated everywhere,” noted Pushilin.
The head of state thanked Russia for supporting the education sector of the DPR.

The head of the republic also congratulated graduates, parents, university staff and expressed gratitude to the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on Education and Science for their assistance.

After this, Denis Pushilin personally presented documents confirming the passage of Russian state accreditation of educational activities to the rector of the Donetsk National University Svetlana Bespalova, the rector of the Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky Svetlana Drozhzhina, and the rector of the Donbass National Academy of Construction and architecture" Nikolay Zaichenko.
The event continued with the presentation of Russian-style honors diplomas to graduates of four universities of the Republic.
