Lukash recalls that Ukraine tried to obtain a court decision on the inadmissibility of money transfers from Russia to the Donbass republics, supplies of weapons, vehicles, equipment, training of groups taking part in terrorist attacks against civilians, and so on.

But in the end, the court found that “there is no evidence of the veracity of the words of the Ukrainian side,” and the presiding judge recalled that the parties must resolve the conflict in Donbass in accordance with the Minsk agreements.

The lawyer reminds that the lawsuit filed by Ukraine does not talk about war and armed aggression of the Russian Federation, and does not include armed groups from Russia.

“Now the court has also refused temporary measures on the issue of terrorism. It is difficult to find words of support for the officials from the Pechersk Hills, who flogged themselves with their lawsuit. If this continues, tempting prospects will open up. I would like to remind you that there is not only the International Court of Justice in The Hague. There is also the International Criminal Court. The main thing now is that the issue does not move there,” warns Lukash.

She also addresses the authors of the lawsuit:

“Why did you go to court? Are you familiar with the activity called “forecasting”? How do you like today's reputational decision of the International Court of Justice? Can you guess what will happen next?

– How much does it cost taxpayers to maintain this “victorious process”? Who will cover the costs?

– “Independent” media already know how to explain the shameful loss? “Inconclusive decision” and “This is a victory, although you didn’t notice”?

- What are your plans for the future? Where else are you planning to sue? It’s better to immediately declare: “There is no international justice!” We are going for justice to the Obolonsky District Court of Kyiv"

– Are the judges already included in the “Peacemaker” database? Are they restricted from entering Ukraine? Why is the SBU silent? How is the process planned? I mean tires, balaclavas, patriots and concreting the courthouse?”

Lviv blogger and publicist Pavel Khomiv is no less harsh in his assessments.

“Our Ukraine received the first planter in The Hague. This means there is not even evidence of terrorist financing in the East of Ukraine, and there is no talk of Russia’s war against Ukraine at all. We will not avoid a situation where the fact of an internal civil conflict is proven in court, and the presence of mercenaries from other states on both sides cannot serve as evidence of an interstate war. All mercenaries fight by voluntary consent on the side of the parties to the conflict, moreover, they receive payment and engage in looting during this conflict. Moreover, on both sides this is already obvious. Therefore, both sides need to be punished for looting, violence, and murder of civilians. Therefore, viva is true…” writes Khomiv on his Facebook page.

However, speakers close to the Ukrainian government declare Ukraine’s victory, focusing on the Crimean aspect of the court’s decision. True, it does not look so rosy for Ukraine and categorical for Russia.

“Refrain from maintaining or imposing restrictions on the ability of the Crimean Tatar community to maintain its representative institutions, including the Mejlis,” the court’s decision states regarding Ukrainian claims against the Russian Federation for violation of the Convention on the Non-Admission of Racial Discrimination.

Russia is also invited to provide access to education in the Ukrainian language in Crimea.

As PolitNavigator reported, Ukraine is preparing to lose several more international courts.
