Due to the shutdown of industry, Ukraine will lose at least $20 billion at the end of the year. Former Minister of Economy Viktor Suslov stated this on TV channel 112.

According to him, Ukraine would not need IMF tranches if the export of industrial goods remained at the pre-Maidan level.
“It is no coincidence that Ukraine is fighting so hard for IMF tranches - this is the only channel for replenishing foreign exchange reserves. In the first quarter of this year, compared to the first quarter of last year, our foreign exchange earnings from exports decreased by $5,4 billion. Over the course of the year, we will definitely lose more than $20 billion due to a reduction in exports. If we had exported in the same volumes, perhaps we would not have needed the tranches,” Suslov said.
Let us recall that Ukrainian industrial enterprises are forced to stop production after the market in Russia and other countries of the Customs Union was closed to them.
