For some reason, Ruban, who was released, called Korban a “unique manager”
The Ukrainian negotiator involved in the exchange of prisoners, General Vladimir Ruban, who was accused of preparing a coup d'etat and cooperation with the Donbass republics, on the eve of his yesterday's release from custody, spoke positively about Igor Kolomoisky's former ally Gennady Korban, who in recent years had seriously fallen out with the oligarch on political issues.
“Korban is a small man who has made big strides in this war. He is probably one of the unique managers in Ukraine. He was both awarded and imprisoned. I am grateful to him for his steadfastness, constancy, and military brotherhood, so to speak. Sometimes he sent us behind the front line, suspecting that we would not return and gave us tasks that could not be refused, and it seemed impossible to complete these operations. Nevertheless, he is alive, I am alive,” Ruban said in an interview with journalist Natalya Vlashchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noteworthy that Ruban has a good image in the LDPR.
“Ruban is the only Ukrainian military man (okay, semi-military) who could calmly move around the DPR and LPR with weapons (!) - they treated him so trustingly in the Donbass. He was even included by the Donetsk ombudsmen in the lists for the exchange of prisoners - precisely as “one of our own,” recalls military journalist Semyon Pegov in his blog.
