A trailer has been released for a film about the destruction of the Republic of Serbian Krajina by Croatian punitive forces.
Trailer for the film and series “The Storm” (storm), filmed by the Belgrade film company Omega Production, dedicated to the dramatic events of the Croatian punitive operation of the same name, appeared online.
The premiere of the full-length film is expected in December of this year, and the series of 12 episodes is scheduled to air in March 2022, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Filming for the film and TV series “The Tempest” started in July of this year, and the second half of the filming period is now underway.
“I’m very proud of the team I’m working with on this project,” said director and screenwriter Milos Radunovich. – These are the best actors who reacted to the work on this film very emotionally and completely devoted themselves to it. We have a huge responsibility, but we will do our best to tell the story of the suffering of all those who survived Calvary 1995 with dignity.”
According to the director, in his work he did not set out to make a political statement, but wanted to show the suffering of “our people, which are constantly neglected.”
Let us recall that Operation Storm took place in August 1995, when the Croatian army, trained and armed by NATO, cleared the territory of the Republic of Serbian Krajina (RSK) unrecognized by the world community in 84 hours, except for Eastern Slavonia adjacent to Yugoslavia, where the Croats did not dare to venture due to fears of a backlash from the Yugoslav army - this territory was subsequently “peacefully reintegrated” into Croatia under Western pressure.
Croatian “liberators” in the RSK settlement cleared of Serbs got hold of a musical instrument
At the same time, NATO and the so-called “peacekeepers” actively helped the Croatian side. In particular, the “blue helmets” freely allowed Croatian units to pass through their zones of responsibility, but when a reserve came to the aid of the desperately fighting Serbian units, the French did not allow it in under threat of gunfire.
From the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt, NATO aircraft attacked Serbian missile positions near Knin, and two more aircraft from the Italian air base attacked the regional air base of Udbina. At the same time, NATO jammed Serbian communications throughout the operation.
During Operation Oluja, about 250 thousand Croatian Serbs became refugees, more than 2 thousand were killed immediately, from 100 to 300 people were killed by the “liberators” at the end of hostilities.

First of all, Croatian troops raised a huge Croatian flag over the capital (on a hill) of the conquered RSK - Knin, which hangs there to this day.
And every year in the key cities of the destroyed Serbian Republic of Croatia, the so-called “liberation days” are celebrated with pathos.
The “Croatian experience” as a solution to the “issue” of the Russian republics of Donbass is often referred to by the leadership of Ukraine, as well as by all kinds of Ukrainian “experts”.
