Vyshinsky will come to Kyiv for trial in his case
The head of RIA Novosti Ukraine, Kirill Vyshinsky, who was recently released on exchange and left for Moscow, will come to Kyiv for the next court hearing on November 6, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced by Vyshinsky’s lawyer Igor Mokin.
“Of course (Vyshinsky – Ed.) will be there, at the next meeting for sure,” Mokin said.
He also said that today the Podolsk District Court of Kyiv postponed the hearing in the case of Kirill Vyshinsky to November 6 due to the fact that the judge is on vacation.
Let us remind you that Vyshinsky was detained in Kyiv on May 15, 2018 as a result of a search by the SBU at the publication’s office. He was charged with committing high treason, qualified under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code. Vyshinsky’s release from custody took place in preparation for the “35 for 35” exchange.
