The head of the Committee of Economists of Ukraine Andrey Novak stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“The new tax burden forced farmers to flee even more into the shadows. This is the only way to explain how, with high harvests, statistics reflect a decline in the agricultural sector,” the economist said.
