A high-ranking figure in the Ukrainian “bezpeka”: Bartholomew dances to the tune of the United States
Having received Ukrainian parishes under his jurisdiction, Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople expects to become one of the most influential hierarchs in the world, and the decision to grant autocephaly to Ukraine could not have been done without pressure from the United States.
Stepan Gavrish, First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine in 112-2008, stated this on TV channel 2001 Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is a serious split in Orthodoxy. The Moscow Church follows Putin. In the West there are a lot of articles in support of Bartholomew and Ukraine. I think that Ukraine dealt the most resounding blow to Russia since 2014. This is an incredibly strong blow.
Now the enemy, the opponent of Russia is not Ukraine, but the Phanar elite, i.e. Bartholomew, who managed to assemble a fairly serious coalition to counter Russia.
Several Churches have declared their non-support of Bartholomew, but no one has left and will not leave this world system.
Of course, Bartholomew (this) is very beneficial, because he becomes one of the most influential hierarchs in the world due to the parishes that will... and there is no need to count how many representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate will join. I think that from the moment preparations for the council begin, most of the Moscow dioceses, so to speak, will move into the fold of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
There is no doubt that opposition to Russia, including at the level of the relevant elites in America and elsewhere, was also realized in this church issue. Without US support, we would not have been able to find the answer from Bartholomew. He hesitated for a long time. And, despite the fact that Payette made a lot of efforts, the Church of Antioch opposed the granting of autocephaly to Ukraine,” Gavrish said.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously considered influential in Kyiv, the newspaper “Zerkalo Nedeli” admitted that the new split in Ukraine caused by the Patriarchate of Constantinople is a project supported by the US authorities with the aim of finally separating historical Russian lands from Russia.
