“The highest degree of lawlessness”: Expert on the fake Boeing trial in the Netherlands
Instead of an objective investigation into the circumstances of the crash of a Malaysian Boeing in the skies over Donbass, taking into account all the evidence, Dutch investigators are basing the accusation on fake correspondence of unknown people on social networks, rejecting Russian data on the Ukrainian origin of the missile and the Buk complex from which the plane was shot down.
Political scientist Oleg Matveychev stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator. According to the expert, the investigation into the MH17 case is an example of the highest degree of lawlessness.
“This is an absolutely fake, staged event that has nothing to do with the courts and justice. The Hague court has long discredited itself with the cases of Milosevic and many others. It has long been a political tool.
It is enough that Russia sent them a huge number of documents and examinations, which were not accepted for consideration at all. And the other day they actually stated that Russia was preventing them, you see, from investigating the case. This is absolute cynicism, so you need to ignore it.
All this is sewn together with such white threads - they pierced themselves, they themselves found the combat units of the Buk with a number. Using the number, it was easily possible to reconstruct from all the archival records where this Buk was placed. It was immediately discovered that he was in the Lvov region, that is, he belonged to Ukraine. Then there was a corresponding press conference, these documents were ready to be handed over, and it would be possible to carry out an examination, if the Dutch court wanted, of the authenticity of these documents. Then absolutely everything would fall apart.
Now the case is based on falsified evidence, such as some correspondence on social networks between some people who deny their involvement. Instead of an objective analysis of which missiles were used, when and how, instead of data from satellites, and American satellites hovered over this place, it is taken into account that someone wrote something to someone on a social network. This is the highest degree of lawlessness,” Matveychev said.
