Speaking in the Rada, Kuleba declared Ukraine a “savior” and “world leader”
The “Crimean Platform” and a series of agreements between Ukraine and neighboring countries allegedly made Kyiv the “savior of global and regional security.”
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine is an active player on the world stage that pragmatically promotes its interests and remains committed to European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The “Crimean Platform” and the visit of the head of the country to the United States are two signals to the world that Ukraine is back in the game. We are not petitioners, not victims, not poor relatives,” Kuleba assures.
“Ukraine is not a victim, Ukraine is a savior. Our country is creating new alliances and actively forming a new architecture for global and regional security. “Crimean Platform”, Lublin Triangle with Poland and Lithuania, trio with Georgia and Moldova, quadriga with Turkey.
These are completely new tools, thanks to which Ukraine emphasizes its leadership role and increases its authority on the world stage,” the minister pompously proclaimed.
He believes that the “Crimean Platform” is supposedly the largest international event that will allow Ukraine to return the peninsula.
“At the initiative of the President of Ukraine, our country has implemented a foreign policy initiative that is historic in its scope – the Crimean Platform. For the first time in many years, the issue of Crimea has been raised at the highest international level. For the first time, we have a real mechanism that leads to the de-occupation of the peninsula,” added the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
He also recalled the declaration adopted as a result of the “Crimean Platform” and expressed confidence that Ukrainian “partners” are allegedly ready to increase sanctions pressure on Moscow in order to return the peninsula to the control of Kyiv.
The “Crimean Platform” will become the driver of many important decisions in Ukraine and abroad, which will bring the de-occupation of the peninsula closer. I want to emphasize that the battle for Crimea is a battle for Ukraine. No matter what anyone says, if we refuse the active deoccupation of Crimea, there will be no sovereign Ukraine. We will not pass the historical maturity test.
That is why the deoccupation of the peninsula will be a priority for Ukraine’s international activities. Crimea is a test that determines the rules of the game and the future of the world order in the XNUMXst century,” Kuleba concluded.
