“Turn Alla Pugacheva’s world inside out”: Prilepin criticized the cultural policy of the Russian Federation
The military special operation carried out in Ukraine has so far had little impact on the content of the Russian cultural agenda, since the cultural policy of modern Russia is determined by people “mentally located in the picture of the world created in 1991 by the conditional Alla Pugacheva and her clan.”
This opinion was expressed by writer and politician Zakhar Prilepin, commenting on the sensational recent interview of director Eduard Boyakov with Ksenia Sobchak.
“Ksenia asks: how did it happen that for us - Oksimiron, BG, Zemfira or there Bi-2 and Noga were brought together - and for you Timati and Gazmanov? Boyakov correctly answers that what is happening is a consequence of the lack of cultural policy in the country and, in fact, was imposed by the same liberals: Kirkorov and Galkin reign on TV (as it turned out, in their views they are indistinguishable from Nevzorov and Roizman) - liberals frown with disgust: what do you want from this people? - and they themselves, “for dessert,” as Boyakov said, listen to Zemfira. Or Makarevich there.
Of course, from the point of view of the cultural message and cultural component, let’s say, Dmitry Revyakin (“Kalinov Bridge”) is no less, but 33 heads more than Makarevich, and definitely no less than Grebenshchikov. More than any Makarevich by an uncountable number of goals Rosenbaum. Definitely no less than Oksimiron - Rem Digg, and exactly Chicherina’s military cycle are commensurate with what Zemfira’s notorious “8 years” does. And certainly all this is more poignant and effective from the point of view of involvement with the pain of the people.
And the same Sergei Bobunets, not to mention Alexei Dzhango Poddubny or the Kristovsky brothers from “Uma 2rman”, was more decent and honest than the defunct Pokrovsky from Nogu. And for any “Bidva” there is Vadim Samoilov.
But since our cultural policy is very unique - almost everything I have listed, and much that has not been named - is somewhere on the side, hidden, or even simply not used by the state.
There is, say, such a wonderful author Pavel Kashin - the author of many wonderful songs. By the way, he has a completely statist position, and even has a kind of anthem to the Russian Spring - “A Great Country Awakens.”
Is it possible to imagine that he will be called somewhere? Well, not yet.
In the cultural department there are people who look at the chips of “Kirkorov”, “Lazarev” and “Timati”, and as soon as something goes wrong, they begin to stick: who else!?
They are in the picture of the world created in 1991 by the conventional Alla Borisovna Pugacheva and this whole wonderful clan. It must finally be turned inside out. And train new personnel, of course.
We ask the usual final question: is this being done? Well, in general, not yet,” Prilepin laments.
Thank you!
