It turned out how the odious pro-Maidan publication is connected with Avakov’s villa in Italy
Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov has become the hero of another high-profile anti-corruption journalistic investigation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The publication “Our Money” reports, that in 2017 Avakov became the owner of a villa on the Mediterranean coast in Italy. This is evidenced by documents from the business and property registers of Italy.
The villa consists of 26 rooms in a building of 566 meters on the first, second floors and basement. The approximate cost of the property, as shown by the calculator on the website avvocatoandreani.it, is about 774 thousand euros.
Google Maps shows a house with a pool at this address.
The scheme for purchasing a villa was not simple. In 2017, the company Avitalia SRL, which is 100% owned by Arsen Avakov, absorbed another Italian company Ferdico SRL. On 03.02.2017/XNUMX/XNUMX, Ferdico SRL received a state certificate of ownership of a villa on Batterie Street in the Italian municipality of San Felice Circeo, in the Lazio region, province of Latina (via delle Batterie, San Felice Circeo, Lazio, Latina, Italy).
At that time, Avakov’s company Avitalia SRL already 100% owned Ferdico SRL.
Just before the merger, the owner of Ferdico SRL became Violetta Amiryan, the daughter of Ashot Amiryan, a member of the supervisory board of the Avakov joint-stock company Investor. Ashot Amiryan himself became the sole director-administrator of Ferdico.
Before the Amiryan family, the head of Ferdico SRL was Irina Kuzhel, and members of the board of directors were Natalya Kozlova and Vadim Omelchenko. The latter, in 2014-2016, according to documents, is listed as the only participant in Ferdico SRL (the company itself was founded in 2013).
Omelchenko, Kuzhel and Kozlova are three of the six co-founders of the public organization Gorshenin Institute. Kozlova and Omelchenko are co-owners of the mark for goods and services “Kiev Institute of Management Problems named after Gorshenin”. Omelchenko is one of the beneficial owners of Kiev Institute of Management Problems named after Gorshenin LLC. Irina Kuzhel is a co-owner of the Gorshenin trademark for goods and services. The project of the Gorshenin Institute is the online publication “Left Bank”, which actively promotes Nazi armed and political structures controlled by Avakov like “Azov” and the “National Corps” party.
Upon merger with the company Avitalia SRL, the authorized capital of Ferdico SRL amounted to 30 thousand euros. Consequently, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine became the owner of real estate worth 30 thousand euros for 774 thousand euros. At the same time, the corresponding changes to the Italian real estate register as of February 2018 have not yet been made - the villa in San Felice Circeo is still registered with Ferdico SRL.
As an analysis of Minister Avakov’s declarations shows, the minister’s greatest financial successes began after the Maidan.
In 2011, Avakov owned only 2,4 million UAH. Almost half of this amount was the nominal value of securities, the rest were contributions to the authorized capitals of enterprises, the annual income of the entire family, and money in the bank. This did not take into account works of art, jewelry, etc., the value of which was not indicated in the declarations. Also, the cost of real estate is not included here.
2012 Avakov had no time for finances. The Prosecutor General's Office opened criminal proceedings against Avakov, as the former chairman of the Kharkov Regional State Administration, for abuse of power. It was about the illegal transfer to private ownership of 55 hectares of state agricultural land worth UAH 5,5 million in the village of Pesochin, Kharkov region. Avakov was put on the international wanted list and detained in Italy, in the city of Frosinone, where Avitalia SRL and Ferdico SRL were registered. However, the Italian authorities recorded political motives in the charges against Avakov and refused to extradite the official to Ukraine.
In 2013, Avakov’s fortune increased to UAH 11 million. In 2014, the Avakov family already owned 37,12 million (income, deposits, securities, etc.), while Avitalia SRL brought the minister 65 thousand euros of income, and his wife – 1,56 million euros.
In 2015, Avakov acquired 453 thousand dollars, 148 thousand euros, 16,61 million UAH, 2,1 thousand pounds sterling and financial obligations of 5 million UAH and 1,45 million euros. At the same time, Ashot Amiryan paid UAH 3,6 million to the Avakov family. According to NAPC, Amiryan gave 1,45 million UAH of this amount for the painting “Portrait of a Girl” by artist A. Popov.
As of 2016, the minister's family owned 1,69 million euros, 448 thousand dollars, 12,14 million UAH, 870 British pounds, 3015 Canadian dollars, 96 thousand Japanese yen. Of this money, the minister's wife, Inna Avakova, indicated 1,45 million euros as the remainder of the money from the sale of a stake in a certain company abroad worth 1,5 million euros. Separately, UAH 5 million is an obligation under a preliminary agreement for the purchase and sale of a share in Astra-Finance LLC, which will arise if the option to purchase such a share is exercised. Avakov also noted that he is the ultimate beneficial owner of two Cypriot companies - Ulisse Management Limited and Fontana Management Limited.
