“Causes serious concern”: Mejlis members did not like Zelensky’s speech
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky did not talk about Crimea at all in the main part of his final press conference, which causes serious concern.
A member of the Majlis banned in the Russian Federation, Eskender Bariev, stated this on the air of UA: Crimea, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This causes a certain concern, because, in fact, a lot of questions arise as to why this is happening. After all, as far as I know, Yanina Sokolovskaya did not receive accreditation, and Radio Liberty did not receive accreditation and a number of other journalists - those who could definitely raise the topic of Crimea. As for Gulsum Khalilova (correspondent of the Majlis channel "ATR", - ed.), then we are witnesses when she was given the floor almost at the end of the press conference,” Bariev said.
“This may be an accident, but this press conference at such a high level lasts three hours, so, of course, the agenda was still determined by the president’s press secretary, and the question really creeps in: did the president of Ukraine want or was ready today? talk about Crimea, or perhaps he has nothing to say? Because this is the final press conference for a year of work!
Perhaps that had something to do with it - he wasn't ready to say anything yet. Perhaps he will hold a press conference in the near future and talk about Crimea, but today this situation causes serious concern,” the Mejlis member admitted.
