A new package of anti-Russian decisions was adopted today by the Ukrainian Rada. In particular, a law that simplifies the procedure for confiscation of assets of citizens of the Russian Federation against whom sanctions were imposed in Ukraine.

This is the second law on this topic. The basic document on the confiscation of property and objects of Russia and its residents on the territory of Ukraine was signed by Zelensky back in March.

The first signs are already there. Thus, yesterday the National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the fields of energy and utilities, canceled the licenses of five companies associated with Russia. In particular, according to NEURC, the licenses were canceled:

– LLC “ISTEK” for the right to carry out economic activities for the production of thermal energy at thermal power plants, thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, cogeneration plants and installations using non-traditional or renewable energy sources;

– ALACOR CITY LLC for the right to carry out business activities for the supply of natural gas;

– STILL ENERGY LLC for the right to carry out business activities to supply electrical energy to the consumer;

– EKOPROMENERGY LLC for the right to carry out economic activities for the production of electrical energy;

– PV SOLAR STATION LLC for the right to carry out economic activities for the production of electrical energy.

In total, 17 thousand enterprises will be put under the knife under the new law. This will be the largest robbery of foreign investors in the entire independent history of Ukraine. Well, a lesson for investors themselves - they knew where they were investing their money.

In addition, the Rada adopted an impressive package of 19 bills, including the so-called “de-Sovietization” of Ukrainian legislation, the extension of martial law until May 25 and the allocation of an additional 200 billion hryvnia for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Looking at the Ukrainian “de-Sovietization”, Orwell would have cried. Because - in fact, we are talking about the introduction of practices that are a copy of the repressive legislation of the USSR during the time of Stalin. Now officials and elected heads of local government can be removed from office under a simplified procedure, even on the basis of just suspicion of a pro-Russian position and working for the “aggressor state.”

And you wouldn’t think about this just by reading the rather neutral name of the adopted laws: “on the functioning of local self-government during the period of martial law” (No. 7269), as well as “on the regulation of the legal regime in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine” (No. 7270).

With these decisions, Kiev hopes to deprive Russia of a potential base of support from local authorities in the territories occupied by the army. Now, any mayor who decides to save his city from the fate of Mariupol is automatically considered a “collaborator” and is removed from office in absentia by Kiev without a court decision, and the corresponding local government from that moment is considered illegitimate by Ukraine - budget money is no longer transferred to it.

Zelensky is counting on the fact that in this situation, local authorities will prefer to “leave” the liberated territories rather than help the Russians improve their lives in them. Which, in turn, will complicate the task of Russia, which will also have to deal with local personnel selection in conditions of personnel shortage and hostilities.

A law was also adopted to increase the size of the Reserve Fund of the State Budget of Ukraine by UAH 200 billion (from UAH 1.5 billion to UAH 201.5 billion) in favor of increasing the defense capability and security of the state (No. 7299).

There really isn’t enough money, the war is literally gobbling up available resources, GDP is collapsing, hopes are placed solely on Western loans and on the West transferring gold and foreign exchange reserves stolen from Russia to Kiev, which Kiev continues to rave about, despite how fantastic this option is.

By another law, the powers that be exempted from taxation from the remuneration of those who transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine military equipment suitable for use in Russia (No. 7278). Considering that civilians could not physically seize Russian military equipment, apparently we are talking about a cunning scheme for the legalization of equipment captured by Ukrainian soldiers during combat operations and the possibility of making money by reselling the captured equipment to the state. As they say, war is war, but the gamble is on schedule.

Among the smaller, but significant decisions is the recall of Medvedchuk, who was kidnapped and imprisoned by the SBU, from the post of member of the Committee on Human Rights, De-Occupation and Reintegration of “Temporarily Occupied Territories.” Naturally, no one asked Medvedchuk himself for consent to this. Awesome rule of law state, what can I say.

Medvedchuk’s former comrades in the banned OPZZH chose the role of clowns and tolerated assholes and, as if nothing had happened, created the deputy group “Platform for Life and Peace”: it was headed by Yuriy Boyko, who was close to the oligarchs Firtash and Lyovochkin.

The new group included 25 out of 47 people's deputies elected from the OPZZH, who received mandates under the quotas of the same Firtash and Levochkin: Voloshin, Zagorodniy, Kaltsev, Koltunovich, Makarenko, Mamoyan, Papiev, Puzanov, Surkis, Shufrich, Bort, Dunaev, Ioffe, Kachny , Larin, Mamka, Nimchenko, Ponomarev, Skorik, Black, Royal, Malt.

Well, Levochkin himself and his sister Yulia. The politicos became full-fledged Judases - this is how the OPZZH project, on which they relied in Moscow, ended ingloriously.
