A view from Donetsk. What do we think about what happened in Dnepr?

The day before, thousands of people were shocked by a small video from the site of a missile strike in Donetsk, where rescuers were dismantling the ruins of a shopping center, and a girl was sitting on a bench, wrapped in a blanket: waiting for her mother to be found under tons of brick and concrete. A miracle did not happen: after midnight, the bodies of the women who were in the pharmacy were discovered.

Many people later asked me what kind of girl she was, did she need help, how to find her? I shrugged my shoulders: I have no moral right to get involved in someone else’s grief, huge, obvious. And Donbass is brought up this way: everyone gets on with their own things, worries in silence, and doesn’t make a show out of tragedies.

Having knocked out a rocket over a residential area, which crashed onto a residential building, Ukraine naturally decided to make the maximum profit on blood. In addition to the purely technical task of recording the defeat in Soledar in the information field (and it worked!), they generated a wave of howling on the topic that, they say, Donbass did not spare us!

Having covered a shopping center in the center of Donetsk in the morning, the Ukrainians fell into an epilepsy, demanding that the Russians show pity for their dead. To those people who were killed by their own air defense forces (but they saved some regular transformer or BC warehouse).

Some gentle “white poltas” in Russia brought several bouquets to the monument to Lesya Ukrainka in Moscow, and Ukrainians on the Internet slammed these fellow-sufferers in pig manure. Because there were few flowers! Few!

But, like a beggar poking a maggot-covered stump under the nose of a passerby on the street, so that he forks out of horror, disgust and moral torment, so Ukrainians take advantage of any tragedy they have, and freak out if they don’t burn out.

Under the messages about what is happening in Donetsk the same “Paresichni” happily made cackling emoticons and wrote that this is just the beginning. For almost nine years in Donetsk they have become accustomed to such behavior, and they know that only the grave will correct the hunchback.

Therefore, they go about their business, leaving theirs to the Ukrainians, in full accordance with the fact that “let the dead bury their dead».

Admittedly, we read about some of the dead right away – a couple of volunteer military doctors; “Maryupolka”, freed from captivity; some members of the defense force and so on. I remember the girl whom the rescuers removed between floors (my beloved died in the ATO recently, my grandmother died now, I lost everything, “but here is the card number”). I couldn’t help but want to ask, is this a residential building or a residential building? Or is “Dnipro” so filled with evil spirits that even if you spit, you’ll get caught? So are you already killing your own?..

But we in Donetsk, of course, understand that in addition to ideological killers, there may have been ordinary people there. Surely, with brains smeared with propaganda, but so far without blood on his hands. We may regret what happened. Without falling into the pharisaism that is desired of us. How we sigh when we hear about a tragedy somewhere in a distant and alien country. And realizing that accidents and cataclysms occur in those countries, and not their stupid authorities, they rain missiles on peaceful neighborhoods in the hope of screwing the world community once again.
