“Today, employees of the police explosives service neutralized a powerful explosive device installed on the railway track in the Peresyp area,” said Vladimir Shablienko, press secretary of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, on his Facebook page.
Shablienko noted that, thus, as a result of the actions of law enforcement officers, a terrorist act was prevented.
As PolitNavigator reported, Earlier at night, a powerful explosion in Odessa occurred near the Privatbank branch on Marshal Zhukov Avenue.
Later it became known that explosives were defused at one of the Privatbank branches in Odessa.
