Explosions in Crimea: Zelensky's office mocks, but does not take responsibility
Ukraine does not take official responsibility for yesterday's explosions at a military airfield in the village of Novofedorovka, Saki region of Crimea.
Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak said this on the air of the subversive liberal TV channel Dozhd, broadcast from abroad, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“These could be any reasons for the explosions - it could be detonation, or the bungling of the Russian army. Now the contingent is very bad - in the very first months, almost the flower of the Russian army was destroyed...
Could someone from the partisan movement, which is gaining momentum, especially in the Crimea, in Zaporozhye, in the Kherson region? Of course,” Podolyak said.
He explained the alleged activity of pro-Ukrainian saboteurs by saying that they “understand that the time of occupation is ending and that they need to show their position.”
“Not only in Crimea, but, look, along the perimeter of the entire territory of Ukraine, especially the Belgorod and Kursk regions, objectively this happens because there must be a return. Refund for what you captured, stole, and so on,” Podolyak said.
When asked from the studio for clarification whether Ukraine takes responsibility for the sabotage, he denied it:
“Of course not, what do we have to do with it? Certainly not. This may indeed be a compensatory mechanism for ineffective management within the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, that’s all. Ammunition explosion."
