A course has been taken to transform Ukrainians into a nation of “workers”

The Kiev authorities have proposed a new educational reform, in which Ukrainian schoolchildren will actually be forced into vocational schools, which will result in an even greater outflow of labor from Ukraine against the backdrop of deindustrialization.

Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Now they are proposing a new reform: to transfer three levels of school education so that there are 1-4 grades, 5-9 grades and then, if a child wants to study in 9-11 grades, he will have to go to another school that they will determine. In other words, some schools will not accept students in grades 10-11 at all, and these children are recommended to go to vocational schools.

In fact, Ukraine is preparing a workforce and, unfortunately, I might understand this decision if the country was at the stage of development, the process of industrialization was underway, and there was a need for workers. In the conditions of deindustrialization of Ukraine, they will use budget money to train blue-collar specialists not for the country, but for export, so that they go to Poland, Hungary or Russia,” Kilinkarov said.
