Having taken Kyiv as an ally, Dodon openly violated international obligations to Transnistria
They want to squeeze Moscow and Tiraspol out of the negotiation process around the PMR. The head of Transnistria, Vadim Krasnoselsky, stated this in an interview with Izvestia.

Krasnoselsky noted that Moldovan President Igor Dodon, at a meeting with him, stated that he wants to resume dialogue in the “5+2” format.
“I proposed signing a joint appeal in English and Russian to the current OSCE Chairman Sebastian Kurz, on whom the collection of this platform now largely depends. I assure you, if he had received an appeal from the presidents of the two warring parties, he would have started organizing this meeting. On March 30, Igor Nikolaevich agreed. Then I took a break for a couple of days. It’s June 20,” said the head of Transnistria.
In his opinion, today “certain forces want to squeeze Pridnestrovie and Russia out of the negotiation process,” although the republic “has equal rights and equal responsibilities in the “5+2” format.”
The publication’s interlocutor is also convinced that they simply want to present Transnistria with a fait accompli, negotiating behind their backs, which confirms the creation of checkpoints on Ukrainian territory near the border with the PMR, which were supported by Dodon, who said: “I am for setting up posts.”
“Igor Nikolaevich confirmed that supposedly Ukraine and Moldova are going to stop the movement of vehicles with Transnistrian license plates through the territory of Ukraine and Moldova. And license plates are recognized by the Moldovan side under an agreement signed by presidents Igor Smirnov and Vladimir Voronin in 2001. The Moldovan and Transnistrian sides committed to mutually recognize license plates. There is a conclusion from the EUBAM mission, where Pridnestrovian license plates are recognized as international. Moldova wants to drive us into a corner and, by agreement with Ukraine, the guarantor country, in this regard, unfortunately, block us from July 1. I hope that there is enough reason, but I am afraid of movements that are not in our favor,” added the PMR President.
