Who is mr Poroshenko? Pro-Russian trader or “Indian” with tomos
Points of no return in relations between Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and the Kremlin were the receipt of a tomos from the Patriarch of Constantinople and the provocation of Ukrainian vessels in the Kerch Strait.
Russian liberal political scientist Andrei Okara, who supports the Kiev nationalist regime, stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel ZIK
“There are many people who accuse Poroshenko of being pro-Russian. That his confrontation with the Kremlin is playing Indians, but in reality it’s not like that. But two factors influence this issue: the tomos and the Kerch problem. They had such severe and unpleasant consequences for Russia that after that I would not accuse Poroshenko of being pro-Russian, no matter what he was before,” Okara said.
Ukrainian politician Taras Stetskiv argued with him.
“The only thing that touched Putin was the Tomos. Everything else is fine between Putin and Pyotr Alekseevich. There is a communicator - Medvedchuk. There are common business interests. Poroshenko for Putin is a predictable person who is afraid to fight and is ready to negotiate, because he has a huckstering nature,” Stetskiv said.
