On April 2, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine applied the “open skies” principle at Lviv airport.

“Starting today, we are “opening the sky” at Lviv airport and any carriers can fly there on the basis of bilateral agreements,” said Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andriy Pivovarsky.

Let us remind you that “open skies” guarantees access to the Ukrainian market for European low-cost companies and the right of Ukrainian and European companies to operate flights between Ukraine and EU countries without interstate coordination of routes.

As PolitNavigator reported, Wizz Air Ukraine previously stopped operating flights from Lviv.
