“I care about her more” - Kuleba put forward an ultimatum to Tikhanovskaya to visit Ukraine

The leader of the Belarusian Maidan activists, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, better not go to Ukraine until she clearly decides whose Crimea is, otherwise she will be torn apart by the Ukrainian media.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Is it true that the Ukrainian authorities do not meet with Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, the leader of the Belarusian opposition, because of her unclear position on Crimea and Donbass?” – asked the radio host.

“It’s not true, I suggested to Mrs. Tikhanovskaya, through her (entourage), our people communicated, I was ready to have a telephone conversation with her, but, indeed, I conveyed that it is very important that Mrs. Tikhanovskaya has a clear position on Russian aggression against Ukraine,” Kuleba replied.

“This is in her own interests, because, relatively speaking, if she comes to Ukraine and starts communicating with the media, the first question will be “Whose Crimea?”, then any unclear answer will work against Tikhanovskaya herself.

That's the problem, I care more about her than about myself. I am absolutely open to contacts, but, as they say, all parties need to be open to everything,” explained the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
