“When there was Maidan, I said: “Don’t cripple Berkut, I will manage it,” Chornovol said in an interview with Katya Osadchaya, host of the “High Life” program.
According to the newly-minted deputy, during the first meeting of the Rada she burst into tears.
“I couldn’t contain myself - I burst into tears. It’s hard to be among those with whom you don’t want to be on the same hectare,” she said.
According to Chernovol, the deputy’s salary of six thousand hryvnia is enough for her, but significant help was received from friends: after her death, many helped her financially. “In fact, I live on the money of my murdered husband,” she admitted.
Among the problems that need to be solved is how to organize a team for 12 thousand UAH.
Chernovol reported that while working in the Cabinet of Ministers, she first received 11 thousand UAH, then 6 thousand UAH, 12 UAH, and then did not keep track of her income because she was worried about the loss of her husband. At the same time, she paid extra from her salary to her assistants, who received only 3,5 thousand UAH each.
