“I don’t want to name it, because I still want to live, I’m not afraid. These are different formulations. These are just very big names, if I name them, you will become scared. I once said that if people knew the names of the KGB and FSB agents of Russia who are in the power structures of Ukraine, they would cry,” says Gordon.

He also, citing the words of the first President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, said that the majority of active Ukrainian nationalists in the early 1990s were allegedly KGB agents.

“In 1991, the GKChP putsch ended in Moscow. The Chairman of the KGB of the USSR Kryuchkov was arrested and placed with other conspirators in “Matrosskaya Tishina”. Nikolai Galushko, Chairman of the KGB of the Ukrainian SSR, is summoned from Kyiv to replace Kryuchkov.

At night, Galushko comes to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Makarovich personally told me this, and says: “According to the instructions, I, as a representative of the KGB, am obliged to give you the names of our agents among the authorities and leave their registration cards.”

So, among the agents there were almost the entire leadership of the People's Movement, all active nationalists, writers who actively loved Bandera, Shukhevych and others. Almost all of them were agents of the USSR. Here’s an illustration, what else can I say?” said the journalist.

At the same time, he stated that Ukraine is supposedly the most democratic state, because on Kyiv channels you can “say whatever you want.”

“Ukraine is an amazingly democratic state. First of all, freedom of speech is incredible. I say things on TV channels that no one in other countries can afford. However, it goes well. Secondly, today we have a lot of candidates who have a real chance of becoming president,” says Gordon.
