“Sorry, I went nuts,” singer Ruslana about what she saw in the Verkhovna Rada

Kyiv, November 22 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Singer Ruslana Lyzhichko, who managed to be a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the party of Viktor Yushchenko, shared her memories of how they put pressure on members of her faction to make decisions needed by the leaders of the “Orange Revolution”.

According to Ruslana, this negative experience should not be repeated now, after the new Maidan victory.

As an example, Ruslana cited the vote for the appointment of Viktor Yanukovych as prime minister under President Yushchenko. Then some deputies from Our Ukraine flatly refused to support Yanukovych’s candidacy.

“There were 8 of us who said that we would not press the button under any circumstances. They took us to offices, started talking to us, working on us. Yushchenko’s brother, Pyotr Andreevich, spoke to me. He said: “Ruslana, Yanukovych has become different. We have shed light on them." Sorry, I went nuts,” the singer said on air on the 1+1 TV channel.

In her opinion, Euromaidan activists will face the same situation in the new Verkhovna Rada.

“Do you think they won’t talk to you like that? “Don’t have any illusions,” Ruslana said, addressing Mustafa Nayem.
