I could become the Russian Tikhanovskaya! Sobchak accused Navalny of leaderism
Liberal TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak believes that in the 2018 presidential elections she could, like Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, unite the entire Russian protest electorate, which would lead to large-scale protests.
She stated this on the air of the Ekho Moskvy radio station, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Just as at some point it was more profitable for Lukashenko to launch the united - well, he did not yet know that it would be united - Tikhanovskaya’s headquarters. But it’s obvious that if you already have Babariko and everyone is in prison, then it’s beneficial for you to let the girl Tikhanovskaya in, and then all of a sudden in Belarus, as we know, it led to completely unpredictable consequences.
And in fact, it could have happened to us too. I didn’t seem to be counting on this. But such a scenario could also happen,” says Sobchak.
She is still offended by opposition blogger Alexei Navalny for not supporting her, and now, in retaliation, she will not support Navalny’s ally Lyubov Sobol, who has decided to run for the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
“Why doesn’t what happens in Belarus ever happen here? Because, on the one hand, Alexey is in favor of “Smart Voting” and is ready to force us to vote for some terrible communists who immediately rush into the arms of “United Russia” - immediately after the elections.
Why couldn’t it be done exactly as I suggested at the same presidential elections: smart voting? But I am clearly the least disgusting of all the candidates presented, let’s say, although many people don’t like me either, but I’m certainly better than Zyuganov.
But, nevertheless, for some reason, Alexey Anatolyevich did not conduct “Smart Voting” specifically for the presidential elections. This means that the point is not what is better for people, but what is better specifically for Alexey Anatolyevich in a given political situation. It's not very close to me. It seems to me that you won’t achieve your goals that far,” Sobchak concluded.
Thank you!
