Crimean Prosecutor Natalya Poklonskaya stated this in an interview with Novaya Gazeta.
“Look what's going on in the world. Everything that is being done now indicates that there is no stability. Europe is overwhelmed by terrorism, Turkey, our Ukraine. Ukraine is a wonderful country, but what is going on there?” she says.
At the same time, the ARC prosecutor added: “Our fraternal Ukraine is going through a period of frivolous recklessness and indifference.”
“You once said that you always considered yourself a patriot of Russia. This feeling did not contradict the fact that you swore allegiance to the Ukrainian state and served it?” the publication asked.
"Wait! Ukraine, Russia, Crimea - in my opinion, we have the same mentality, the same traditions, faith, we are Slavs and brothers. In Crimea, in general, everything has always been Russian. I can also call Ukraine, in a sense, ours. It developed when it was part of Russia, it also developed later, being independent, but when foreigners seize it and begin to lead the state, it becomes scary for this unfortunate country. Therefore, what kind of contradiction can we talk about? When the invaders, radical extremists, terrorists, the so-called Heavenly Hundred, came, there were no longer any contradictions. Crimea is Russia, our mother. We are for a just cause, God is with us.”
At the same time, the publication’s interlocutor admitted that she took an oath to Ukraine, “but not to Bandera.
“I pledged to defend the Ukraine that is real, and to defend its law... Do you see the law there now? They have already forgotten that such a word exists. There is no law. Removed from your vocabulary.”
