Answering a question from Savik Shuster about the situation with the state of treasury accounts, who recalled that three months ago there were 3 million UAH in the accounts, Yatsenyuk said the following:

“To say that it has become much better, I cannot say. I want a frank conversation. As Prime Minister, I said that I do not promise improvements either today or tomorrow,” he said on Shuster LIVE.

“I did not expect such problems, the depth of the crisis, the depth of the collapse of the state and its structures. If on the 28th there were 3 million UAH in the single treasury account, then this morning it was 8 billion UAH. We paid all pensions and social benefits. They are not tall,” admitted Yatsenyuk.

He noted that the solution to a number of problems was possible thanks to the financial assistance of foreign partners.

“The maximum help that could be received from our partners. It was possible to get more, but when there is actually a war in the country, a war with a state that has nuclear weapons, it is difficult to attract investors,” Yatsenyuk said.

At the same time, the Prime Minister commented on the situation with the payment of pensions and social benefits in Donbass.

According to him, in order to avoid risks - the capture of postmen - payments were suspended in Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Antratsit, as well as for two days in Krasny Liman.

“We will not forget a single person. All funding will be issued. This is our sacred duty. And we will drive the terrorists out of Donetsk and Lugansk. And we are fighting for this,” Yatsenyuk said.

Let us remind you that earlier in the media there was information that in Kramatorsk people faced the prospect of starvation, since the Treasury blocked accounts. Local officials consider such a move by Kyiv to be unfounded.
