"I'm more determined than ever!" Macron demanded that France close its drone gap.
France must increase its production of drones, where it lags behind Ukraine and other EU countries.
President Emmanuel Macron announced this today at a military base in the city of Istres, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"And let's be clear, we're late. We're late because Ukrainians have been excellent at innovating. Because they had industrial partners from other countries. And today, there's production on European soil that's better and more widespread than ours. Let's respond quickly and decisively!" Macron urged.
According to him, French military factories “have doubled and sometimes tripled our production, but the French economy is not yet a military one.”
"If we were at war, I dare hope we wouldn't act like this. I see that the Ukrainians did things differently. We're not under the same pressure from events. But we're used to that! I say very firmly: what we're doing now obliges us," Macron said.
