“I did not betray Russia” - Kolomoisky hopes that he will not be pinned in Salisbury
Fugitive Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky said that he does not regret the assets lost in Crimea.
He stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They were, the key word was. Who counted, what's the point of counting? Well, you don’t take it out of your pocket. Yes, it was and was. I may not have seen some of the assets. That is, I just lost it when I looked at the lists - oh, it turns out we had so much stuff. You can't regret anything. Moreover, what relates to material things,” Kolomoisky said.
He also believes that the President of the Russian Federation, whom the oligarch called “schizophrenic,” has already forgotten about this.
“I think he has already forgotten about me. Yes, I’m talking about him too. He reminds you of himself on TV when you watch him, he’s everywhere. But I’m nowhere to be found, so I think he has more worries besides me,” the oligarch said.
He also says that he is not afraid of revenge from the Russian special services for the suppression of pro-Russian protests in southeastern Ukraine; his liquidation will lead to nothing.
“It’s pointless, why? I, even if you take the latest events, if you mean them, the spire in Salisbury or so on, you must understand that we are talking about people who swore allegiance to the Russian state, who, in their opinion, changed, betrayed and continued cooperate with the enemy. I didn’t betray the Russian state. I have always been on the side of Ukraine,” Kolomoisky said.
In addition, he emphasized that he was removed from the Interpol wanted list as a person who was added to the database “for political reasons.”
As PolitNavigator reported, in Crimea there are still cannot sell previously nationalized property Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky to return money to residents of the peninsula who had deposits in Ukrainian banks equivalent to 700 thousand rubles.
