“I went to the enemy” - Strelkov about an interview with Gordon
Giving interview with a scandalous Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, one of the former commanders of the DPR militia, Igor Girkin, better known by his pseudonym Strelkov, was well aware that any of his words could be used by the enemy.
He told Komsomolskaya Pravda about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Were you offended by the position of journalist Gordon, who talked with you for a long time, and then said that this was all in order to accuse you in court, including in the case of flight MH17?” KP asked.
“It didn’t offend me at all. I initially went into this interview understanding what Gordon was and who he was. I didn’t experience any illusions. Accordingly, the tactics that I adopted during the conversation with him were adopted on the basis that this was the enemy. And that any word I say can be used by the enemy. On the other hand, in my opinion, I managed to turn the situation around in such a way that Gordon very much regretted interviewing me,” said the ex-commander.
