About it Yatsenyuk's press secretary Olga Lappo said on her Facebook page, “PolitNavigator” correspondent reports.
“This year Arseniy Yatsenyuk exercised his option to acquire corporate rights. The agreement was signed on June 15, 2017. Information about the option was indicated in his electronic declaration for 2016, which Arseniy Yatsenyuk filled out when he was no longer in the position of Prime Minister of Ukraine,” Lappo wrote.
She noted that in the “financial obligations” section, the ex-prime minister included an agreement with the founder of the TV channel Larisa Knyazhitskaya for the acquisition of corporate rights in the amount of UAH 3.
“The channel’s share was purchased for this amount,” Lappo emphasized.
As “Detector M” writes, together with Yatsenyuk, the wife of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, Inna, became a co-owner of the channel.
Together they became co-owners of Astra Finance LLC, which owns 100% of Goldberry LLC, the legal entity of the Espreso TV channel.
According to the publication, the partners’ shares in Astra Finance LLC are distributed as follows: Avakova – 40%, Yatsenyuk – 30%, Knyazhitskaya – 30%. All of them are the ultimate beneficiaries of the TV channel.
The Espreso TV channel was created in the fall of 2013. Its founders were Knyazhitskaya and the former editor-in-chief of the weekly “Comments”, and now people’s deputy from the BPP Vadim Denisenko.
