Yatsenyuk “out of pity” will lift the transport blockade of Crimea

Kyiv, December 30 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that he would like to ban any movement of people and goods to Crimea.

“I would prohibit any interruption in the movement of people and goods. This is more my human position, not a premiere. As prime minister, I remember the people,” he said during a press conference, answering a question from journalists about the continuation of the transport blockade of Crimea in 2015.

“Limited movement of people and goods must occur,” he said, emphasizing that “compatriots, Crimean Tatar brothers-in-arms” live in Crimea.

As PolitNavigator previously reported, Kyiv has stopped train and bus connections with Crimea.
